Our visit to the Oklahoma Frontier Drugstore Museum in Guthrie was made truly special because of Nancy Rye, a 89-year-old volunteer we had the pleasure of meeting.
Nancy was incredibly knowledgeable and could explain so many things throughout the old drugstore. She shared the history and stories behind the items with such enthusiasm and patience. She also told us that she was a former nurse, which made her knowledge and explanations even more interesting.
What touched us most was seeing someone at 89 years old still volunteering, sharing her knowledge and welcoming visitors with such warmth. ❤️
If you visit the museum, I hope you have the chance to meet Nancy. She is a wonderful person and, for us, one of the most memorable parts of our visit.
