点评:My very first impression of this museum was immense; such careful, picturesque landscaping and promising to be a relaxing, peaceful visit. Unfortunately, we chose a time, 10.00am, when the lawn mowers were in full throttle! They stopped at lunch time, so perhaps a good time to visit.
By the ticket desk, you can't miss three pieces of "art work" by Claire Morgan - each comprised of a dead bird; a blackbird, a woodpecker and an owl. Being a nature and bird lover, these exhibits shocked and upset me; I found these ugly exhibits out of place in this otherwise beautiful setting. I don't know what Ms. Morgan message was but I wish she had kept it to herself!
The rest of the art work in the grounds is of course a matter of taste, but the "Blue, violet nun" is a sight to behold. BUT all in all - it is a lovely, beatifully maintained place. Well worth a visit.
