Weather was not in our favor, but CPT Ian made sure we had an incredible day on the water! Our goal was to chase Bones and Hogs, but with clouds and low visibility, we switched gears—and it turned into an epic adventure. We went after a variety of Amberjack, yellow tail, Snapper, and more, finding explosive action as fish chased bait nonstop. We were catching fish one after another until we literally got tired of that species!
Between storms, we moved on to target Snapper, and it was a blast. Ian’s passion really shows—he’s locked in, constantly adjusting tactics to make sure we had every opportunity to catch fish. We landed so many different species, but one of the highlights was taking our catch to a local restaurant CPT Ian coordinated for us. Within an hour, our fish were prepared four different ways—an absolutely amazing experience.
Can’t wait to come back for round two and finally chase those Bones and Hogs with clear skies. What a trip.
