点评：I went fishing with Capt Ian. He is a world class angler and captain. His boat is clean and in great condition. He provides tackle and bait. He has water. If you want food, you should bring it.
The fishing: Bermuda is the only place in the world you can fish for hog fish on the flats. You fish for them like bonefish. You can bonefish as they have world class bone fishing. To sight fish hogfish is a truly unique experience. Capt Ian is only person in Bermuda and the world sight fishing hogfish. They are excellent table fare and my personal favorite. This fishery is catch and release only - none for the table. We used crabs for bait. Ian poled us along the flats, we spotted, and I cast to them. To see hogfish tailing in two feet of water is something special to experience. I saw plenty alas I lost one and caught one. Ian put me on them - they are difficult to catch - everything has to go your way. I think I found ever way you can miss them! I had the time of my life. It was an amazing - amazing day. I loved every minute of it! I hated when my day was up. I saw fish all day. We took a break mid day and I caught a couple mangroves for dinner. Otherwise, we hog fished. You can do other types of fishing - snapper, bonefish, other reef species. You can do fly or spin. For me, it was only hog fishing. I didn't want to miss a minute of spotting hogs!!! I can't wait to go back and hog fish with Ian again. I hope I can do a little better next time! Not his fault! Do yourself a favor, you want a truly unique experience - try hog fishing on the flats of Bermuda with Capt. Ian you will have a truly memorable experience that few have.
