点评:I rank this with the Hamarikyu Garden and the Shinjuka Gyoen National Garden as one of the three most beautiful gardens in Tokyo. If you are visiting Tokyo, you really should visit one of the three to get a flavour for the appearance and history of Japanese Gardens. If you are a gardener, visit all three! They are all beautiful. All of them date back to the Edo period, so they've been around for a few hundred years. This one is the smallest of the three, therefore the easiest to explore fully. I spent about three hours here, and had seen most of the park in that time.
The entrance fee here was very reasonable (300 yen), and it was quite uncrowded even though it was cherry blossom season.
The landscaping is beautiful regardless of season, as it relies on the use of water and rocks, along with the shrubs and trees, to create the landscape.
On a different topic, there is a store near the entrance (inside the garden) selling very good ice cream.
