点评：Family including 18 and 20 year old. Hiking fit. Drove over from saint Gilles which took 2 hours. Google maps took us off piste so beware stick to the n3 going up. Set off from parking at 10.30am. Weather forecast said sun moving to cloud in the afternoon but we weren’t up for the sunrise option. It was in theory 13 degree but we did mush of the walk in shorts and t shirts plus a thin merino layer when stopped. There were a few spots of rain but otherwise the weather was perfect. There was cloud below and around but not in the “view”. We took 2.15 to walk to the crater and 1.45 to walk back. The route is well marked by white paint dots The walk is hard underfoot as it very variable lava field surface and very easy to twist your ankle. The scenery is dramatic as you descend down the steep stairs and cross the large volcanic expanse then head up the other side. Tbh the kids were a little bored. As you have to constantly look at the ground to check your foot placement rather than enjoy the walk and it’s somewhat same same landscape. We do live in Switzerland so we are spoiled. We persevered despite being tempted to turn back we were told it was worth it. So we went to the crater which was indeed impressive and unique. Thankfully the skies were clear and the view was great. The walk back was a bit of an endurance again not the distance but the ground. Obvs this is the point of a volcano walk. The steep stairs back up were in fact a relief to be in stable ground. In conclusion having hiked mount Etna in Sicily and now this I think I’m done with volcano hikes

翻译：我们一家四口，包括两个孩子（一个18岁，一个20岁），身体素质不错，适合徒步。我们从圣吉尔开车过来，花了两个小时。谷歌地图把我们带到了错误的路线，所以大家要注意，上山的时候一定要走N3公路。我们早上10点半从停车场出发。天气预报说下午太阳会变阴，但我们不想看日出。理论上气温是13度，但我们大部分路程都穿着短裤和T恤，停下来的时候才加了一件薄薄的美利奴羊毛衫。途中下了点小雨，但除此之外天气完美。火山下方和周围有云，但并不影响视野。我们花了2小时15分钟走到火山口，1小时45分钟返回。路线用白色油漆点做了很好的标记。由于是崎岖不平的熔岩地，路面很硬，很容易崴脚。沿着陡峭的台阶往下走，穿过广阔的火山地带，然后爬上另一侧，沿途的景色非常壮观。说实话，孩子们有点无聊。因为你必须时刻低头查看脚下的路，根本无暇享受徒步的乐趣，而且沿途的景色也大同小异。我们住在瑞士，所以习惯了这里的一切。尽管一度想放弃，但我们还是坚持了下来，因为有人告诉我们一切都是值得的。于是我们去了火山口，那里的确令人印象深刻，独一无二。幸运的是，天空晴朗，景色绝佳。回程的路程同样考验耐力，倒不是因为路程远，而是因为路面崎岖。当然，这正是火山徒步的魅力所在。回到山顶，走上陡峭的台阶，回到平坦的地面，反而让人感到轻松。总而言之，在西西里岛徒步了埃特纳火山之后，现在又走了这条路线，我想我以后不会再去爬火山了。

除非山顶有什么特别之处，否则远观就挺好的！
