点评:This was the first thing we saw in Strasbourg and for me the first thing in France. Our cruise ship docked on the German side, and we walked the pedestrian bridge to the France in the park.
Once in the park we were greeted to a beautiful setting of flowers and green space. Combined with a very nice pedestrian/bike bridge, this park is a great attraction for citizens and visitors alike on the Rhine waterfront. However, no matter how great the park was, the highlight was the half dozen storks we saw in the park. Before our visit, I had no idea that we would see storks in the Rhine Valley; however, they seem fairly prevalent as we saw multiple nest and storks in the Breisach/Friberg areas of Germany on the cruise stop the day before. However, our visit to the park yielded more than 6 storks in the park. Our guide said while it is common to see a stork in Strasbourg, it is unusual to see so many together. While with entire park was great, the storks were more memorable than the bridge or any flowers, really neat experience.
