An interesting piece of history with a nice shop, museum and cafe.
Dunlewey Centre的点评
点评：A very interesting Visitor Centre with a good variety of souvenirs for sale in shop but if visiting do go on the museum tour where you will be shown how wool was handled in days gone by and a demonstration of the spinning wheel and weavers loom. The tour guide not only tells you all about the history of the place but actually shows you a loom working. Then through to the old house and how they lived in the past including an old bed with an early en-suite (Pot under the bed). Then you can view their OLD shop from days gone by with old products on the shelves. There is also a farmyard display with all sorts of chickens and feathered birds as well as farm machinery. The Centre also has a nice cafe where you can enjoy tea/coffee snacks etc.
Within the grounds there is a largish playpark for the kiddies as well.
