点评：Meeting Naoe and her husband, Yakup was serendipitous and unique. It's the kind of encounter that you will remember for a long time. My wife and I were strolling in the Pergamon Covered Bazaar, late in the evening, when all stores were practically closed, except for Naoe's. Naoe is Japanese and Yakup is Turkish: it's a delightful combination. Their cordiality is sincere. Her shop is tiny, charming, well organized, a pleasure to the eye. And the goods she sells are beautiful, in good taste and good quality. What puts you at ease is that the prices are set: no need to negotiate. As a bonus with your purchase, you get an origami creation ( beautiful and exceptionally tiny!) made by Naoe herself. My situation was unique: Naoe has studied the art of rug making, and I have a hand-made, over 70 years old rug which I have been struggling to repair for the past several years. Yakup and Naoe invited a lady from the town, a master rug weaver. We met, and I had to wake up my daughter (7 time zones apart!) so she could send me pictures of my rug. I finally understood the sequence of knots that I needed to make the repair. This will take me a few months, but once the work is complete, I will send pictures to Naoe and Yakup, which they surely will forward to the master rug lady. Thank you Naoe, thank you Yakup, sincerely, from both my wife and me.
