Para-sailing- it’s seriously bad for your health.

点评：The minute you land on the beach there is what appears to be a kindly gentleman who helps you get off the boat and into the water. However, he’s selling you the para-sailing experience- and it’s DANGEROUS.
If you are elderly, not fully fit and have mobility issues then it’s not for you.
You have to wade through the surf and clamber into the boat while the boat is rocking with the waves. You’re taken to a platform where you are harnessed to the parachute (minimum two), then with no warning (they already have your payment) the cable tightens and if you’re not prepared you will scape along the wooden platform and take off. After less than seven minutes you return and you have to control the landing onto the platform! At this point you’ll scrape your legs and knees until you stop. The small boat returns you to the beach where you disembark into the waves with no assistance!
This experience is only for young fit people but they sell to anyone and everyone. Finally the billboards all say the price is R2,500 for 2, but in small writing they have scrawled ‘For Mauritians’ and charge you R4,000.
It’s not only a total rip off but can be injurious to your health!
If you really want to do this then try it in another part of the world where you’re in control and know what you’re paying for.
