Emotional but opportunity to pay respects to those in December 88 atrocity

点评：First we visited Sherwood Crescent where a large section of the PAN Am plane destroyed No.13 and serious damage to nearby properties. The space has been turned into a pretty garden with a memorial stone, bench and pretty coloured shrubs that look lovely on an autumn day.
We then drove the short distance to the Lockerbie Dryfesdale Cemetery to visit the main memorial garden. There is a small car park outside of the gates. The Visitor Centre was closed at this time of year and its a 3 minute walk to the memorial garden towards the back of the cemetery. As some pictures show, there's a large memorial stone to all victims and individual headstones with inscriptions from a number of US families where remains of loved ones are interred. Seeing all of this shows the tragedy in its full light and the devastation caused to so many.
