An unforgettable birthday adventure with amazing staff!

点评：I booked the raft building experience for my birthday with a group of six friends, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better day.
We were all a little apprehensive beforehand as we weren't quite sure what to expect and some of us didn't think this was going to be our type of thing, but from the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at ease. We were welcomed with a cup of tea or coffee, there was plenty of on-site parking, and the facilities were excellent, with clean changing rooms and showers available.
Our instructor was absolutely fantastic. He was relaxed, approachable, funny and witty, and really matched our group's sense of humour and banter, which made the whole experience feel natural and enjoyable. It was just our group taking part, so it felt really private and personal rather than being part of a large crowd.
The setting is absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by woodland in a peaceful valley, with the stepped canal and waterfalls running alongside, it was the perfect place to spend the day. We also noticed there are loads of other activities available and even camping on site, so it's somewhere we'd definitely return to.
The raft building itself was brilliant. We were shown everything we needed to know before being encouraged to use our own initiative and teamwork to build our raft. There were fun challenges throughout, and our instructor was happy for us to come up with our own ideas and extra challenges while we were out on the water, which made it even more enjoyable.
Our rafts actually held together amazingly well! The only reason anyone ended up in the water was because one of my friends decided it would be funny to push me in... otherwise I think we'd all have stayed dry!
The owner was also really friendly, chatty and welcoming, which added to the relaxed atmosphere.
The weather couldn't have been more perfect either – warm enough to enjoy being outdoors but not uncomfortably hot.
The whole experience was organised really well and booking was straightforward. The only tiny suggestion I'd make would be to perhaps add an online booking system to the website so dates can be booked instantly, rather than arranging everything by email. That said, the email communication was easy and efficient, so it certainly wasn't a problem.
Overall, this was a five-star experience from start to finish and one of the best birthdays I've had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Forest Adventure to anyone looking for a fun, unique day out with friends or family. We'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
