DFDS Newcastle的点评
点评：Stayed 1 night in a dog friendly cabin. Deck 5. Cabin space was ok, nice to have a window. Cabin was very warm and air con noisy. Engine noise was very loud and the cabin vibrates with it.
A dog bowl is provided in your cabin and poop bags in the dog toilet area.
Dogs can only go in the dog exercise area with is small, up a flight of stairs and smells of pee! We had to carry our dog up the metal stairs as he was frightened of the gaps, he’s small so not too difficult.
The dog toilet was so smelly, astroturf area small and constantly wet.
Not sure if I would use again with a dog it’s not pleasant and you are stuck in your cabin for best part of 14 hours unless you’re happy to leave your dog alone or are with another person who can go and get drinks/food to bring back to the cabin.
My view is based solely on a couple travelling with a small dog.
Tips
Take drinking water
Take your own food and a cool bag for dog food as no refrigerator in cabins.
