10/10 recommend the Commodore Suite!
DFDS Newcastle的点评
点评：We recently travelled with DFDS from Newcastle to Amsterdam and stayed in a Commodore Suite, and we honestly couldn’t fault the cabin.
The suite was immaculate and much more spacious and comfortable than we expected. The bed was super comfy, which made such a difference after a busy day, and we loved having the mini bar. The Rituals toiletries were also a really lovely touch and made the cabin feel that bit more luxurious.
The evening entertainment was good and gave us something to do after dinner. We were also really impressed with the buffet restaurant. We honestly weren’t expecting too much, but the food was surprisingly really good and there was plenty of choice. The jalapeño bread was a particular favourite! It is quite expensive, but we felt the quality was good.
Breakfast was included with our Commodore Suite and was also really lovely. There was a good selection and it was a great way to start the morning.
The shop on board was also really good and had a decent selection. We didn’t try the cinema, but thought having one on board was a great touch and there was plenty to keep you entertained during the crossing.
Our only real criticism is that we wish you got longer in Amsterdam. We know this is down to the ferry timetable and obviously this review isn’t going to change the route, but we genuinely think giving people a few more hours in Amsterdam would make the mini cruise even more appealing. Even if the Newcastle sailing could leave a few hours earlier on the day it departs, it would give passengers much more of a full day to explore Amsterdam before heading back.
That said, we absolutely loved the Commodore Suite and would 100% book it again. If you’re considering doing the Newcastle to Amsterdam mini cruise, we would definitely recommend upgrading to a Commodore Suite. It made the whole experience feel much more like a proper break rather than simply travelling on a ferry.
10/10 from us and we would definitely do it again!

船上的商店也相当不错，商品种类也挺丰富。我们没有去体验电影院，但觉得船上设有影院是个很贴心的设计；在航程中也有很多活动可以打发时间。
我们唯一真正的遗憾就是希望能在阿姆斯特丹停留更长时间。我们知道这是由渡轮时刻表决定的，显然这条评价也改变不了航线安排。不过我们真心认为，如果能让乘客在阿姆斯特丹多待几个小时，这次短途游轮之旅会更具吸引力。即便从纽卡斯尔出发的游轮能在出发当天提前几小时启航，也能让乘客有近乎一整天的时间来游览阿姆斯特丹，然后再返程。
话虽如此，我们非常喜欢Commodore套房，绝对会再次预订它。如果你正考虑参加纽卡斯尔至阿姆斯特丹的短途游轮之旅的话……我们绝对推荐升级到Commodore Suite套餐。这让整个旅程体验更像是一次真正的度假，而不只是乘渡轮出行而已。
