点评:I went with a friend in the 13-16 age group. Before we went our parents looked at their website and the phone policy. On the phone policy it doesn't mention where the phones are kept so we decided not to risk it getting stolen and so we didn't take ours. Everyone else in our age group had their phones and there were multiple times where my friend and I were left sitting with nothing to do while all the other children were on their phones. They did bring a box of games into the common room when we asked for something to do but because we sometimes went into the theatre (they don't put a film on during phone time) we couldn't use the games then. Also getting hold of a phone call was hard work, as we were older than most of the other children there, they were top priority for a call (I do understand why) and the first time I tried to schedule a call my group leader had to keep radioing people so that it would actually happen. I do understand that they would assume we would have phones but a camp is a nice place to have time away from it and there isn't enough information about where it's stored and stuff. It also doesn't say to bring games and entertainment with you but for about an hour and half before bedtime you're in your rooms so it's handy to have a game or something. On a more positive note, the staff aren't allowed on their phones and allow you to sit out of activities that you don't want to do.
