Fossils Galore Museum的点评
点评：This place is amazing and more people should know about it! We had a wonderful morning there with our dino-mad three year old. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped into the gift shop at the front (which has a huge selection of gems and fossils all reasonable priced imo).
The children's activities are perfect, we'd booked the 'baby dino bundle' for my son which again, is extremely reasonably priced. A volunteer theb helped up dig up fossils and pottery, find sharks teeth and pan for gems while being extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We weren't rushed and you could tell all the staff are extremely passionate about this place and what they are doing there.
You get to keep a few of the things you find and we expected to just be handed them - but no! Each piece my son found was carefully identified and placed with an information sheet. I think this care and attention to detail, and making children feel like their finds are important can really foster a deep interest in this subject.
The museum, while small has some absolutely wonderful exhibits, things that I haven't seen even in larger museums.
What an absolute hidden gem, we will definitely be back. If you have a dinosaur/history enthusiast in your house please take them for a fun and very affordable day out
