Lovely little course - greens are work in progress

Staff very welcoming and friendly
Course is nicely laid out with a lot of water hazards which you don’t always see
Fairways in great nick
Thought the court between rough light rough 1st cup and fairway was excellent
The light rough around the greens was thick and green and super punishing if you didn’t get through it
Green is a bit a disappointing though - clearly just been hollow time and sanded/treated
Really hard to putt on - ball was jumping and skipping around all over the place and pace was really irregular. I found I was having to chip on probably five or so metres short to have any chance of the ball staying on the Green which is a bit of a shame when you’ve played great off the tea box and a nice approach shot off as I say a beautiful fairway - I get it’s part of he game but there was a real juxtaposition
I’d happily return though
Only other slight moan is lake the differentiation between the 9 hole cards and 18 hole cards at reception - I picked the wrong one up which proved interesting when we twigged at the turn :/
