Nice enough but wouldn’t hurry back

点评：We enjoyed a one night stay at the hotel including dinner and spa treatments.
Check in was fine but staff seemed to lack experience and it wasn’t very welcoming.
The bedroom was nice enough but a bit tired - no smart TV, no fridge / mini bar for example. However the bed was really comfortable and the room was nice and clean.
The spa area is a bit of a let down as it’s quite small and very tightly packed which doesn’t give a very relaxing vibe. There are not enough loungers for all the guests and they are packed very close together. This may be less of an issue in summer when the outside area is available though.
The food in the restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.
I enjoyed both my treatments though since they were back to back it would have been nice if I hadn’t had to move rooms - small details like this make such a difference to guest experience. Overall we had a nice break for the cost which I feel is reasonable however I would not hurry back as I would rather venture a little further afield for a more luxury experience.
