Dirty hotel past its sell by date!!
Ibis Birmingham Airport Hotel Bar的点评
点评：I would like to start by saying this review is not directed at the staff who were most polite, pleasant and helpful.
I would describe the overall ambience of the hotel as extremely shabby and grubby certainly not value for money.
On arrival we were allocated a room with disabled facilities as requested. The curtain was hanging off the curtain rail so unable to draw the curtains and the overall impression of the room was grubby. After complaining we were given an alternative room which despite the curtains being functional still appeared grubby with a large stain on the carpet at the bedside along with other dirty marks.
The state of the carpeting overall in the hotel certainly on floors two and three was appalling being extremely filthy and heavily stained.
No matter what position the mixer tap in the bathroom was adjusted it was impossible to get cold water.
No hand towels were supplied.
The electricity supply arrangements were interesting with what amounted to a multi gang extension lead.
The room was extremely noisy as it was facing the airport runways, at one point we thought the window was open but that was not possible.
The dining room was more akin to a transport cafe than a hotel, on the first night the fish and chips was quite good however on the second evening the lasagne was not and I finished up leaving half of the meal although my wife had the curry which was adequate.
Considering the cost I would class this experience extremely disappointing particularly having stayed at other IBIS hotels which were very good. On my next visit to the NEC rest assured we will not be using this hotel for my stay, I would heartily recommend that senior managers try using the facility themselves!

餐厅与其说是酒店的用餐区，倒更像是公路旁的快餐店。第一晚的炸鱼薯条相当不错，但第二晚的千层面却糟糕透顶，我最后只吃了一半；我的妻子点的咖喱倒还凑合。
就价格而言，这次体验实在令人失望至极——尤其是我之前住过的其他宜必思酒店表现都相当出色。下次再去NEC时，可以肯定的是我们不会再选择这家酒店下榻了。我衷心建议高级管理者们亲自试用一下这个功能！
