Double check museum opening times before you come as they are only open on Fridays at the moment.

点评：We were in Lancaster for a couple of days and were recommended to come here. We checked the opening times on Google which is the first search result to come up. This said the museum is open on a Sunday so we came. The banner in front of the steps said it was open although the entrance door was closed. There were no opening times on the door so we followed the instructions of ringing the bell, allowing time for staff to answer our ring then we called a phone number which eventually connected to a voice recording which said the museum was now only open on a Friday. We checked the museum website which confirmed this was indeed the case during the Winter. The museum needs to update Google as that is where many of its visitors will look. Plus they need to put the winter opening times on the door rather than instructions to ring the bell etc. Finally the museum should remove the 'we are open' banner from the front of the museum when it is closed.
