Let me explain: When I registered as a frequent driver I specifically elected to pay with my personal card as to not have to go through pain of loading funds on your frequent driver card monthly. I am sure you can understand my surprise and irritation when I arrived at the toll last yesterday to be told that I cannot swipe anymore!?
I called your offices today and was informed that indeed I need to come into the office and get the frequent driver card and load funds on it. The reason is that your bank does not allow swiping anymore!? It is FNB I am led to believe. This is REDICULOUS!
And to add insult to injury I was told that this change of procedure was displayed on your website for some time now…..you have a WhatsApp group, you use SMS to communicate why was this not done? Why not use social platforms to advise your clients of this unfortunate change in procedure?
Being in the service industry myself we always ensure that the processes our guests use to enjoy our offering is seamless and does not inconvenience them. A lesson the Chapman’s Peak Operating company should learn.
This is very poor and one almost gets the impression that the managing company is trying to make it harder for loyal and frequent drivers to enjoy discounted rates by inconveniencing them……. I have also sent numerous emails to both Ayesha Salie and Mark Jacobs and have yet to receive any kind of response....
