点评：I used to visit here quite frequently, before the car park charged. Back then, the car park and surroundings were well kempt and pleasing to the eye. I have visited a couple of times since the car park changed to charging and have slowly watched the area decline which I find rather confusing considering you have to pay for the privilege to park there now.
I visited recently and I felt rather depressed by the car park. It felt like an abandoned junk yard. The pub looked as though it had closed down for good and I was surprised to look online this evening to see it is actually still open.
The walk along the canal in both directions was no better. I didn't feel safe, the canal was full of what appeared to be empty, run down canal boats however, the clothes drying outside, activity of dogs and the odd individual milling about displayed otherwise. I didn't stay around, i left feeling angry that the area had become so uncared for.
Perhaps visiting in autumn didn't help but I certainly felt uneasy whilst being there and was pleased to leave the creepy car park.
