点评:We had the most fantastic trip on the island, with the last sailing of the season in the May Princes (review separate). We had the privilege of seeing a 5 day old seal pup on the beach at landing point. The island is steeped in history, if you are a lighthouse fanatic then it’s a must do visit. With this being the place of Scotland’s first lighthouse, the engine room blows your mind and how lighthouses were operated prior to modern technology. Not too many birds around as the breeding season has ended, however still plenty Shags and Cormorants around along with the seals waiting to come on land to give birth. We were given an information talk prior to being set free to roam the island. Lots of different paths and view points and plenty information boards placed at points of interest. As it was the last day of the season we were treated to being allowed up the main lighthouse which was informative and gave awesome 360 degree views. A big shout out to all the staff and volunteers who care for this amazing magical little island
