点评：We had such an amazing and unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Uganda with Irembo Africa Safari Tours!
Stephen was fantastic from the very beginning. He was super responsive to all my questions, organised everything for us and made the whole trip so easy and stress-free. He and Jek looked after us really well throughout the trip.
Our stay at Buhoma Community Lodge was also great. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent.
The gorilla trekking itself was honestly an incredible experience. We hiked for about 4 hours through the rainforest before finding our gorilla family. Along the way, we got to see red-tailed monkeys and enjoy the beautiful rainforest. Some people are lucky enough to find the gorillas within 20 minutes, so I guess every trek is different!
We had one hour with the gorilla family to take photos and videos, and they were so relaxed. Being that close to them in their natural environment was something we’ll never forget.
I definitely recommend hiring a porter. It starts from around USD 20, and you can give more depending on their service. They carry your bag, help you along the trek and, most importantly, it supports the local community. Our porter was a great help, especially during the more difficult parts of the hike.
You can also tip your guide and the trackers. We really appreciated how hard the tracking team worked, especially going out early in the morning to locate the gorilla family before we arrived.
Overall, we had the best time in Uganda and couldn’t have asked for a better organised experience. ❤️
