Excellent friendly and informative tour

点评：Our tour guide, AJ, gave an excellent, personal and informative talk on the family run wine business. Having checked first to see if anyone had any commitments post tour , which none of us did, we spent a good two hours plus there. She would have been happy to give a shorter tour if necessary.
AJ was happy to answer any questions, however basic and I came away with an appreciation of the hard work and challenges involved in work wine production. AJ also offered to take group photos.
We were given 4 wines to taste, 3 red and 1 rosé, and shown what to look for.
There was no hard sell of the wine post tour at all. In fact, I had enquired on the pourer discs and wine stopper and was able to purchase these at the shop.
We also came away with one mid-range bottle and some of the inexpensive key rings made from the Château's corks. Ideal for presents. I would thoroughly recommend the tour and you are close to the historic town of Saint-Emilion, which is well worth a visit.
