点评：Decided with friends to visit here as its part of the national trust so members can go free. We wanted to learn more about the area and William Wordsworth who lived here for three years. Disabled visitors (check if its just for blue badge holders) can drive up and theres a call button for help at the gate and then you can park near the house. You can walk up from Grasmere itself its not far to walk it and you get some lovely views. The house is used as an event space with exhibits on theres a second hand book shop an Indoor picnic area and help yourself to tea coffee juice water for a donation which was great as when I visited it was a hot day so a cool drink was most welcome.
The staff were all lovely and helpful explaining what was on that day and the facilties
Theres plenty of toilets upstairs and downstairs theres outside seating areas and there was plenty of lawn games and things for children to do. We did the woodland walk its uphill alot of it but at the top the views are lovely especially from the top of the poets seat. You can if your lucky see red squirrels we didnt see any but the best time we were told was autumn when they start burying their nuts etc.

楼上下都有很多卫生间，室外也有休息区；此外还有不少适合孩子们玩的草坪游戏和其他娱乐项目。我们走了林间小径，大部分路段都是上坡路，不过到了顶端视野非常优美，尤其是从“诗人之座”那里俯瞰更是如此。运气好的话还能看到红松鼠——我们没看到任何一只，不过据说最佳观赏时间是在秋天，那时它们开始埋藏坚果之类的食物。我一定会再次光临，也强烈推荐给大家。
