点评:I went to Pattaya after many years. I was born in Singapore as an Indian now living in UK.
My experience was mixed. For some reason many of the Thai people in the tourist area were prejudice towards the Indian. I am not sure if it is because they bargained a lot. Surely I believe product are cheaper in Indian.
I would advise Indians to read the prejudice before spending your hard earned money.
Another important thing is there are groups of Indians who are deliberately targeting Indians in tourist area especially in walking street. They will say that your tummy is big or your eyes is black etc and suggest that they can bring you to 7/11 to buy honey and mixed with their friends herbs. They will add without you wanting. This amounts to 100000 baht in some cases more. They will bring you to ATM withdraw all your money.
During my stay I was approached at least 10 times. The last time in front of McDonald’s at Pattaya Avenue. I took some photos of the gang of three.
I hope the Pattaya tourist police will seriously look into this.
I hope who have experienced similar things to post the same.
