Central Square Marktplatz的点评
点评：Do no expect a “big square” as in other European cities.. in fact within 10 mins one would have a clear visual of the place, but to explore in details will take more time.
It's is a quaint little town which one can’t miss in your trip here, central heart of the Hallstatt Old Town. The houses are surrounded by the mountains just behind, there are some restaurants, souvenir shops and even a Mart (for groceries).
There’s also accommodation available, with their advertising notices, at the comfortable guesthouse or a family-friendly apartment. Giess it would be wonderful to have an overnight stay here!
In the centre of the square stands the mighty Holy Trinity statue. We understand that each year the market square is a venue for many events. It was early Dec and nope we din see any special arrangement..
The market square of the UNESCO World Heritage town is definitely one nice place in Hallstatt to explore. We left after 30 mins exploring the area. 😊
