I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Coco & Lola.
At the time of purchase, I specifically asked whether I could return the dress if I changed my mind and was told by the staff member assisting me (who I later learned was the store manager) that I had 10 days to return it. At no point was I informed that returns were limited to store credit only, nor was I directed to any signage or advised to check the website.
When I returned the item within two days, I was shocked to be told that a refund was not possible and that I would only receive a credit note. This directly contradicted what I had been told at the time of purchase. Had the credit-only policy been clearly explained when I asked about returns, I would not have proceeded with the purchase.
I escalated the matter to management, only to receive a response that felt dismissive and relied solely on “company policy,” rather than addressing the misinformation I was given. While policies are understandable, customers must be accurately informed — especially when they ask directly.
I have shopped with Coco & Lola in the past and always had positive experiences, which makes this situation even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling misled and burnt as a customer. I expected better transparency and accountability. I am now stuck with a $275 credit which I will never use.
