点评：Brilliant building, okay staff, horrible programming. If you want to have woke shoved down your throat this place is for you.
I’ve seen several shows here and they are so boring. They obviously think they are “challenging”, but actually they don’t ever challenge the arts “community’s” current orthodoxy. They only have one point of view, so you pretty much know how’s the show will proceed and ultimately end.
Last show I saw was Mid Summers Dream… whilst not overtly “woke” it was a “modern” take on the play and they had ripped the script apart in a childish and derivative way… cut and altered the script, added passages (lots of contractions so the language they used didn’t fit with the original script). All very well but it left a lot of plot devices unfinished and just hanging. I can only imagine the director didn’t completely understand the source material. That said the actors where without exception good and a couple of them were great.
The play ended with loads of dead bodies… ehh… one shot by Puck… so not very uplifting … weird behaviour for a mischievous sprite.

戏演到最后，尸体遍地……呃……其中一具是帕克开的枪……真是让人提不起劲……对于一个调皮捣蛋的小精灵来说，这行为也太奇怪了。
