Offhand service, poor ice cream

点评：Walked just inside with our small dog to find out if we could bring her in, and was immediately shouted at (rather than politely informed of their policy). Maybe put a sign on the door? The vast majority of places are fine with dogs these days so it was reasonable of us to assume it would be okay.
The ice cream was the main reason we came so we overlooked the initial bad service and hoped for the best but were left feeling really disappointed. The mint chocolate chip flavour was bright green (alarm bells always ring when you can see that one is relying on food colouring to give the illusion of taste) and had poor quality little shards of chocolate in it, and the Malteser flavour was an absolute disgrace: the ice cream didn’t have even the tiniest hint of malt flavour, and besides that, there were no Maltesers in it at all. Not even a crumb. It basically tasted just of cream. The ice cream was also very icey. Unfortunately, we ended up throwing them away.
Children and non-tasters would be fine here. But we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.
