The slow pace helped a lot with altitude. I felt well adapted before the summit attempt. Summit night was cold and physically demanding, but reaching Uhuru Peak at sunrise was an unforgettable moment.
Camping on the mountain was well structured, and daily routines helped with rest and recovery. A private setup allowed for a flexible pace and more focus on listening to my body.
Climbing Kilimanjaro is challenging, but very rewarding.
I highly recommend the Lemosho route for its scenery and acclimatization profile.
