点评：An easy in/out 9.3km 3.5-hour loop in mostly flat ground, loose rocks trail. We parked and started from Ponte de Rucurto through cool relaxing forest trail that snakes around a river and many great views. It was great to be alone in the thick of nature soaking in the cool air and enjoying the silence trekking leisurely with little to no people around. At one point you will come upon a wooden gate and pass it you'll be within 30-minutes to Lake Federa. Here is where at the open edge you can catch a glimpse of the outskirts of Cortina. The first glimpse of the lake will be the blue tint of the water then it opens up and the full wonder of the lake amazes with the reflection of the surrounding in the water. BEAUTIFUL! Walk around the lake and you'll be amazed by the many photo ops the rocks and the rifugio presents. We made the round back the way we came and crossed path with many others heading into the lake as it was getting warmer.
