点评:We visited the cathedral on a very wet day so the shelter was welcomed. The man there was very friendly and welcoming and there was plenty of information booklets telling you about what’s on display. It is free to enter but there is a suggested donation of €4 per person which goes to the upkeep of the church. Without doubt the hi light of our trip was climbing the tower behind the church. This was €6 per adult and €3 per child but definitely worth it for the experience of climbing the rustic ladders and the view to the top. My young kids loved this adventure but you need to have your wits with you as the steps are old and steep so it isn’t for everyone as you need some agility to make the climb. The staff here were so lovely and showed us how to get the kids up and down the ladders safely. They even gave my kids some certificates to say they made it to the top of the tower. If you are afraid of heights or ladders etc, this is not for you but if you fancy a challenge, I would highly recommend it .
