点评：Twelve Oaks Farm Campsite Review
We had a brilliant week camping at Twelve Oaks Farm Campsite. I’d actually stayed here many times as a child, so when my friends and I decided to go camping, it was an easy choice to come back. We stayed from Saturday to Saturday and had such a lovely, relaxing week.
⭐ Experience
Coming back after so many years was just as good as I remembered. The campsite is well looked after, peaceful, and in a great location for exploring South Devon. It was the perfect base for a week away with friends.
💷 Admission Fee
The price is excellent considering the facilities included. Having both a swimming pool and electric hook-up at this price point is quite rare. The pool was always clean, warm, and never felt overcrowded.
The electric hook-up works slightly differently, with 10kWh included per day. After that you pay for any additional usage through an app. We only used around 10kWh across the entire week while running a cool box, charging phones, and using a radio, so we never came close to the daily allowance. If you’re staying in a caravan or using lots of electrical appliances, it’s worth keeping an eye on your usage, but for us it wasn’t an issue at all.
The onsite shop was also very reasonably priced, which is refreshing compared to many campsites. The food truck was another highlight - £6 for a burger made using beef from the farm itself is fantastic value, and they were absolutely delicious.

We stayed for seven nights, from Saturday to Saturday, which felt like the perfect amount of time. There was plenty to do locally while still leaving lots of time to relax around the campsite.
🌿 Atmosphere
The atmosphere here is one of the campsite’s biggest strengths. Despite being close to local attractions, you barely hear any traffic and farming noise is minimal. Instead, you’re surrounded by the pleasant sounds of children playing, people chatting, and the occasional bit of music from neighbouring pitches. It creates a really friendly, relaxed environment without ever feeling rowdy.
🚿 Crowd Size
The campsite was fully booked for most of our stay, but it never felt overcrowded. Even with lots of people staying, the shower and toilet facilities were always clean and there was never a wait for a lovely hot shower - something that’s surprisingly rare on busy campsites.
👨👩👧👦 Staff
The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. You can really tell it’s a family-run campsite, with everyone being welcoming, approachable, and happy to help. It gives the whole place a warm, personal feel.
⭐ Best For
I’d especially recommend Twelve Oaks Farm Campsite for families and groups of friends looking for a peaceful campsite that’s close to plenty of attractions. It’s an ideal base for visiting places such as Kent’s Cavern, Dawlish, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot, Shaldon, and Dartmoor National Park.
