A Truly Outstanding Production of Bugsy Malone!
I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Academy Theatre Birdwell’s Intermediate production of Bugsy Malone, and I can confidently say it deserves every bit of a 5-star review. From start to finish, the entire performance was bursting with energy, talent, and heart.
The children were nothing short of incredible—each and every performer brought their character to life with confidence, humour, and charm. Their dedication was clear in every scene, every song, and every perfectly timed splurge! It was wonderful to see such young performers take to the stage with such professionalism and enthusiasm.
A huge congratulations must also go to the staff and creative team. Their hard work, guidance, and passion for the arts shone through in every detail of the show. The direction, choreography, music, and staging were all superbly executed, creating a production that was both polished and thoroughly entertaining.
The Academy Theatre Birdwell should be extremely proud—this was a joyful, brilliantly staged performance that showcased the incredible talent and teamwork of everyone involved. I left with a huge smile, and I’m already looking forward to the next production! 🌟
