Thank you so much! A special thank you to Lyle, our guide. We had an amazing time in Alaska. Our adventure was seamless and enjoyable. Every tour we did was a blast, whether the focus was Alaskan history, adventure, or wonder. Our accommodations and transport arrangements were well thought out and prepared. Lyle was especially helpful in entertaining my mother with a huge amount of knowledge and history about every place we visited. The tour was well thought out and planned throughout Alaska. Although there were a few hiccups regarding tour cancellations, it never felt hurried, or hectic. In fact, many times Lyle would take us on local side trips to ensure that we were still busy seeing and experiencing Alaska. I am sure there were behind the scenes rescheduling that was going on and for that we appreciate the staff that made it seem like it was all part of the original plan. This was my mother’s bucket list trip and Lyle and the team fulfilled everything despite the rain and unusual weather…except the Aurora. I guess Mother Nature can’t be scheduled all the time. At one point because our tour group wanted to try another trip on a tour that was cancelled, Lyle and team arranged a special trip back to the area on our last day despite it being his day off. It ended up being cancelled due to weather, but again, it was the thought that counted. By the end of our trip Lyle felt like one of the freinds in our group and not our guide. Our tour group and guide made the experience enjoyable enough that I would definitely consider taking another tour. The only thing we missed on the checklist were the aurora. Oh well, I guess we will just have to come back. It will definitely be with Alaskan Adventire Unlimited!!
