Well worth a visit.
The Gallery at Laurieston的点评
点评：We had been recommended the tea room at the Gallery. We called there and were not disappointed. On arrival we were met by Phil, the owner and artist who is a photographer. He is one of life’s characters, full of life and lots of information.
The Gallery is in the old village pub and still serves as a meeting point for locals who come to meet for drinks and cakes. The gallery is full of Phil’s framed works which are lovely as well as work and crafts by other artists.
We had coffee and cakes which were wonderful. The coffee was Mexican and very nice which Phil topped up once and offered a second time. The cakes and scones are baked by a local lady, the Galloway tart is worthy of particular mention, being simply delicious. All in all a lovely place to visit, it was a pleasure meeting Phil. If we are back in the area, this is a place we will return to.
