It’s just an expensive upmarket shopping centre, could be anywhere in the world

点评：Located underneath the Petronus Towers and next door to the KLCC Park, this is probably the flagship of all the shopping mails in KL, so we went in to take a look.
Yes, it’s very clean, and European in design and contains all the top market brands you would expect and if you are into brand shopping you will probably like it. But it wasn’t for me.
But then, being a European tourist, I guess I am not the target demographic for this shopping centre as the last thing I want to do when exploring Asia is to feel I am back in a posh shopping centre in Europe, whereas for the locals I am guessing this is part of the appeal. For any British readers the feeling I got here was Bicester Village on steroids and as I hate Bicester Village with a vengeance, you can guess how I felt about this one.
I did give it a go though and as a wearer of Sketchers footwear found the Sketchers store to see if I could get a bargain. But alas, even with their 40% sale I could get my usual Archfit shoes cheaper back in the UK.
As shopping centres go, I much preferred the Pavilion Mall, a walk away on the KLCC - Bukit Bintang Pedestrian Walkway, as at least there, there were things that made me feel like I was in an Asian city.
However, like all posh shopping centres in KL, one key selling point is that the air conditioning is fantastic if you need to get out of the heat.
