A specific location in Bukit Bitang for night time entertainment

点评：I can see why people have been posting here about the wider area of Bukit Betang, as, except for the Bitang Walk attraction listing, there isn’t one specifically for Bukit Bitang.
However, situated at Sungei Wang Plaza, BB Park is actually a specific entertainment area built on the location of what used to be a funfair called Butik Betang Park that dated from the 1930’s, ( hence the name of this centre).
Today it is a place for entertainment, dining, and shopping in the heart of Bukit Bintang. Although largely under cover BB Park very much has an al-fresco style and feel and is a good place to browse or just sit and eat and drink.
The alfresco feel comes from the BB Park Roof Canopy which is referred to as a “tropical umbrella”. As a former engineer I spotted it and was impressed by it but I guess I am in the minority of people who would spot this 32 feet tall high volume canopy consisting of steel frames with multiple layers of overlapping metal decks and polycarbonate skylight roofs.
BB park does attract a lot of tourists (such as myself) and where there are lot of tourists there is usually people trying to make money out of them and in cases scam them out of their money. So just have your wits about you if you are attracted by the herbal stalls and massage parlours.
If you do want to wax lyrical about the wider Bukit Bintang district do not forget that Bintang Walk (probably the best one for a general review of the district), Jalan Alor, Jalan Sayur Food Street and the wonderfully colourful Jalan Alor Street Art all have their own Trip Advisor attraction listings.
