Ignore bad reviews, one of the nicest zoos I’ve ever been to

点评：Such a lovely zoo. The reviews made me imagine this place to be awful but my husband and I loved every minute. If you’re thinking of going, please ignore them and just do it. We mainly went to see Asha and she wasn’t out when we got there, so we just went back later and she was out climbing! Walking through with the lemurs was a great experience too, we had them running right up to us and jumping around, didn’t expect to enjoy that area quite as much as we did.
The staff were all lovely and the volunteers were so knowledgeable for a chat about the animals, both personally and about the species in general.
The only downside was people walking around moaning about things that were out of the zoo’s control, like the animals not being out or things being refurbished/built, it’s to be expected at this time of year when it’s cold and likely to be less visitors so you really should expect these things and not let it take away from the experience. If you aren’t ready for those things then go in summer instead!
My husband was also very happy there was always a bathroom within a short distance :)

工作人员都很友善，志愿者们知识渊博，可以和我们聊动物，他们不仅会介绍动物的习性，还会讲解物种的方方面面。
唯一的不足是有些人会抱怨一些动物园无法控制的事情，比如动物没出来或者正在翻新/建造。在每年的这个时候，天气冷，游客也比较少，出现这些情况是可以理解的，不要让这些小事影响你的游览体验。如果你还没做好心理准备，那就夏天去吧！
