点评:We visited the Fundación Rodríguez-Acosta expecting an interesting stop, but it turned out to be far more fascinating than we had imagined. The building itself is quite extraordinary, full of curious architectural details, hidden corners, and wonderful views across Granada. It’s the sort of place where you keep spotting something new every few minutes and quietly wondering how on earth it all came together.
Our guide, Cristina, was absolutely excellent. There were four of us English speakers within a mainly Spanish group, which meant she very kindly had to do a bit of linguistic juggling throughout the tour. That clearly gave her more work to do, but she handled it effortlessly, switching between Spanish and English with great good humour so that we never felt left out.
Her knowledge and enthusiasm really brought the history of the house, the gardens, and the ideas behind the foundation to life. Guiding a group is one thing but guiding a bilingual group without breaking stride is quite another, and she managed it brilliantly.
Thank you, Cristina.
