点评:Visitors are not allowed to drive in, only authorised cars and we were told to park outside and to walk in 800 metres before we can reach the park. We decided to follow the instruction since we are here and parked. Here are our experience:
1. Short trees not trimmed along the pavement and blocking our way partially
2. No covered walkway, really hot to walk even at 4 pm
3. No signages along the way n we chanced upon bamboo park which we thought was the Botanic Gardens at first but it was small, so we walked out again before we saw the small signage that says it’s the bamboo park.
4. We walked back to main road, looking at google map (there were no signages) n think we have to walk further up the road to reach the gardens, but there were no pavement for walking in this area here and it looked like we need to walk on the side of the road.
At this point, we decided not to proceed with the visit as it has been a very unpleasant experience. Super hot weather, long walk, no signages, poor maintenance, no proper pavement, etc.
The only interesting thing we saw along the way was monkeys. Was told that this park is frequented by hikers, so I guess unless you are willing to walk a lot under the hot sun, I’m not sure if it is worth to visit.
