点评：If you are interested in Vietnamese culture and a 45 minute puppet show sounds entertaining, then add this to your list.
We purchased VIP tickets in advance via the Klook.com Website. Tickets were expensive compared to other sites in Vietnam but still very reasonably by U.S. standards (less than $10 per person).
We opted for the audio headsets to explain/translate in English. Purchased as you enter the theater, this added to the cost (under $2) and was worthwhile. I would recommend that (if you don't speak Vietnamese).
The seats were short on knee-room for a tall audience member; grab an edge seat if you are tall.
The show lasts 45 minutes - shorter than I had expected but perhaps the right time to give you a good sense of the art without straining the patience of some members of your group.
A small orchestra with traditional instruments and singers sit to the sides of the pool and provide the audio for the show.
The theater is right at the NE edge of the central Hoan Kiem lake - with plenty of good spots to get a bite or drink before or after the show.
I'm glad I included an evening show as part of a two-day visit to Hanoi.
