Pricey and not worth it, not highly recommended
吉隆坡塔的点评
点评：We visited the Kuala Lumpur Tower on a Sunday afternoon and we paid for adult and Senior Combo ticket which allows us to visit both the Sky Terrace and Observatory Tower. The ticket prices are severely marked up if you are a non-Malaysian tourist, making it really expensive. It was not crowded at the time of our visit.
The Sky Terrence basically allows you to visit the top floor where you can view the high-rise buildings scenery without the obstruction of roof top. The scenery is fairly breathtaking but I am not genuinely interested in it. There is a clear glass cabin space called Sky Box where the floor is transparent glass and underneath is the scenery, but you had to pay an additional fee to enter this space to photoshoot within a fixed time period of about 10 minutes. It might be daunting for those who have phobia of heights like myself. There is an exhibit of photos of other equally high towers all around the world to show comparison and for general knowledge.
Next is the Observatory Tower, which is just a few floors below the Sky Terrence, and one can view the high-rise buildings scenery within an enclosed space which is air-conditioned, and with the help of super thick-lens binoculars. There are descriptions of famous places such as the Golden Triangle and Istana Budaya written on the glass wall for knowledge sharing. It was utterly fun to play with the free-to-use binoculars as I managed to zoom into a house which has a super cute dog.
All in all, despite the overall positive experience, I still do not highly recommend this tourist attraction as it is not really worth the price but is a good way to kill time especially when the weather is favourable, i.e., not raining nor hazy.
