Santa train disappointing and not worth the high cost

点评：We did the santa train visit as a family of 3 adults and 2 children, my 15 month old daughter and my 6 year old niece and honestly found it really disappointing… to start with the guy meant to be dressed as a reindeer gave up halfway through meeting the kids at the train and just took his head off which confused my niece and felt really rude
There was nothing really going on on the actual train the keep the kids entertained so they were bored, they didn’t get an activity pack until about 2 mins before we go to chinnor station, and my 15 month old wasn’t included in that either even though she was also charged at full price.
The Santa visit wasn’t great either, shoved into a dark stuffy tunnel because none of the lights seemed to be working, waited ages to actually meet Santa only to be rushed through because of the size of the queue
Can’t really understand why adults are charged the same as children when we don’t get a gift we just get a cheap hot drink and a mince pie?
For £150 we expected a lot more, there wasn’t much in the way of magic and the children were bored
Absolutely wouldn’t do it again which is such a shame because we are locals and we were really looked forward to it, kids were really excited but ended in bored tantrums
I’m thinking we had a rubbish day, because reviews seem to be great but the staff didn’t seem to really make the effort for us which is a shame for the price
