点评：We booked the bear and whale watching tour with the company and had a memorable experience overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the boat was comfortable and well-equipped for the journey. Breakfast and lunch were adequate—simple but sufficient for a day out on the water.
We were fortunate to spot a black bear along the shoreline, several sea lions, and even a pod of orcas, although the whales were quite distant. While it was exciting to see these animals in their natural habitat, we had originally understood that the tour included a guided trek to view bears on land. However, this wasn’t the case. The bear viewing was conducted entirely from the boat, and only for a two-hour window, which we later learned is the limit imposed by the First Nation operators who manage access to the area.
Although the experience didn’t fully match our expectations, we appreciated the opportunity to witness wildlife in such a beautiful setting. It’s worth checking the tour details carefully to ensure they align with what you’re hoping to see.
