点评：The trip to Selingan can be booked directly with Crystal Quest or via a Tour operator. With Crystal Quest it's much cheaper, but you don't get a guide just for you. This is not too much of a problem though as many guides and rangers are present on the island and are all happy to answer your questions. The night experience with the turtle, food and accommodation are the same for everyone. The turtle experience is absolutely superb. It's very well organised and incredible to witness. The accommodation/food experience is not so great. The rooms are in bad shape. I didn't mind the conditions of the sink and furniture because things get easily ruined in tropical climates, but the linens were badly stained. Everything was clean and freshly washed, but with plenty of old indelible stains. The food was terrible, particularly for breakfast. The quality of the ingredients was extremely low. We all had intestine's issues the following day.
Selingan is a National Park, not a luxury holiday island, you pay for the experience, but with a little more effort things could be hugely improved. Accommodation and food in other Sabah Parks run by Sutera are at a completely different standard.
