Amazing custom Yunnan tour with Lily: Hidden spots, great value, fantastic care

点评：Lily is an amazing trip organizer for Yunnan. She is very responsive and worked with us to customize the trip for our extended family of 8, including grandma. We wanted to stay in non-touristy hotels and she placed us at excellent guesthouses where each owner gave personal attention to us and had wonderfully designed places with courtyards, excellent homemade breakfasts most of the times. They invited us to share teas and wine/alcohol and chat with them. We did Kunming, Dali, Shaxi, Lijiang, Shangrila in June. We got lucky with very little rain and not too hot weather.
The tour guides Alex, Maria and the staff of drivers were very courteous and went above and beyond take us very comfortable during the 10 day trip. They would take good care of grandma, instantly help if we ran into hiccups with any local purchases, helped us rent e-scooters. We had a big issue with our return flight checkin and Maria spent 45min with airline to get us through.
The local experiences with Naxi family, Tibetan family were memorable and exclusive. Icing on the cake was the extra ordinary hospitality of Lily’s parents in hosting us for dinner at their home in their village. Her cousin and his homestay are also unforgettable. His organic farm is literally in front of his guesthouse and you get to experience some of his produce in the breakfast. Lily herself played a great host in her guesthouse in Lijiang. The breakfasts and the tea room are excellent and the entire stay felt very comfortable.
We had big comfortable vans for us the entire time (besides the train from Kunming to Dali). Alex was very good at taking us to less busy spots in each city while giving us more intimate experiences. Shaxi is an amazing old city to visit. We were lucky to be there on a Friday and be at their weekly local market. Lijiang old town would totally qualify for the best colorful flower city among all the places we have visited so far.
The best part was the trip was less expensive compared to other trip organizers and still gave us a complete and more authentic experience of the beautiful province of Yunnan. Highly highly recommend Lily.

在整个旅程中（除了从昆明到大理的火车），我们一直乘坐宽敞舒适的面包车。Alex很擅长带我们去各个城市中游客较少的地方，让我们能获得更贴近当地生活的体验。沙溪是一座非常值得一游的古老城镇。我们很幸运地在周五抵达，赶上了当地的每周集市。丽江古城绝对可以称得上是我们至今所到过的所有地方中最具色彩、最如花的美丽城市。
最棒的是，这次旅行的费用比其他旅行社提供的服务要便宜，却依然让我们充分体验到了美丽的云南省。我极力推荐Lily。
