Panama Dive Center的点评
点评：I strongly discourage anyone from using Panama Dive Center due to serious safety concerns, unprofessional conduct, and deceptive business practices.
During my certification course, I encountered several alarming issues. The instructor imposed unnecessary and punitive testing not included in the standard PADI requirements. I was coerced into additional dives under the false pretense that they were mandatory for certification, only to find out later they were not. On one of these dives, I ran out of air, and instead of assisting me immediately, the instructor made me swim several meters to her, putting me in serious danger.
The instructor was distracted throughout the dives, paying more attention to a shop employee taking photos and recreational divers than to the safety of her students. The lack of accountability from both the instructor and the owner is deeply concerning.
To make matters worse, after making a deposit, they try to upsell you on visits to additional dive sites for an extra cost. If you decline, they cycle you through the same three locations repeatedly, which diminishes the overall experience and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic.
If you value safety, professionalism, and transparency, avoid Panama Dive Center at all costs. There are plenty of reputable dive centers that prioritize their students and provide a genuinely enriching experience—this is not one of them.
